1999 Chevy LuminaDriving to work a bit late at around 9:00 AM on a beautiful Thursday morning, July 17, 2008, I decided to take my usual route taking a back-road to cut traffic. Bad idea. Without any warning, a large deer, or buck possibly leaps out in front of my vehicle. Of course, usual human instinct is to swerve... and I did. Off into the ditch I go sinking my right-side tires into a small rut.
From there I plowed through a vast stretch of overgrown grass and weeds, then into a small tree. Needless to say, trees eat cars for breakfast, no matter how small they are. As for me, not a scratch.
Car had to be towed, and is now awaiting inspection for insurance purposes. Let's pray they don't have it totaled!
