Hello, I was in a horrible accident Friday, November 7, 2008 around 4:30 pm. I was heading home. I live in Fells Point, Baltimore City, Maryland. I was driving on Interstate 83 South into the city. Another car started merging into my lane she didn't see me and I was ran off road and I crashed head on into yellow sand filled barriers that separate the highway from a left exit of Fayette Street.
I bounced off the barriers and car coming from behind me plowed into my rear end. Pushing me forward into a 360 turn bouncing off the highways walls twice. I felt like a ping-pong ball. I climbed out of my driver window w help from a man that stopped to help. I walked away from this crash alive, no broken bones, only abrasions from the air bags and bruising from seat belt.
My neck, collarbone, and breastplate are stiff and sore. That will heal and I thank God I bought my Honda Accord. She saved my life. I owned Hondas all of my driving life. Started with a 1997 Honda civic. Had her for eight years. Drove it until it hit the ground at 386,000 miles! I treated myself to a 2004 Honda Accord V6. Awesome car! I loved it, don't think it will be back again. So sad but I can replace my car not my body or life.Thank you Honda for making safe cars that are enjoyable to drive.
