I thought you would find these photos and story interesting:
On the afternoon of May 9, 2011 a contractor was giving an estimate to our next door neighbor to do some remodeling work at their home. His truck was parked directly across the street from our home at the top of our horseshoe shaped street in Centennial, CO.
Due to a brake malfunction on his Ford 250 truck, it slipped out of gear, rounded the corner and headed down the street past our house. The truck continued on down the block, side-swiped one car along the way, jumped the curb, crossed another neighbor's lawn and finally stopped after driving into the side of the last house at the end of our street. Thankfully nobody was injured but it certainly scared the neighbors who saw the truck going down the street without a driver.
My observation is that there has to be an easier way for this contractor to get new customers.
