On november 12th 2007 at 3:30am i was in an accident. i was on my way home in my girlfiends 4-door honda civic, when i dosed off behind the wheel on a quiet street in tampa, florida ( jackson springs just west of hanley rd.) i must of went off the street to the right and then over compensated turning the wheel hard to the left making the car fly onto the grass of a church. the car went sideways sliding and caught the passenger side wheels causing the car to role over 1 and a half times.
Coming to a stop when the large oak that was there smashed in the roof completely. as a result i shattered my right thumb, fractured all my ribs on my left side as well as having one of them puncture my lung. Also snapped my right collar bone and broke my back in three places. Thumb is healed after having a cast and surgery requieing 5 pins. colar bone looks messed up but they claim theres nothing that can be done. and i now have 2 titanium plates and 4 large screws holding my back together. ohh and one hell of a cut on my forehead. took a while before i could start walking agian but at least i still can. thats my story, thanks for letting me share, John B.
