Right outside Car Accidents.com Headquarters January 18, 2007 at 9.30pm. I heard the loud crunch- I am now accustomed to the sound. It was dark, with freezing rain, in fact after I called 911 and went downstairs to take these pics, the parking lot was coated in black ice.
A Toyota truck was traveling inbound on Storrow Drive, he apparently lost control, skidded into the guardrail head on, bounced off the rail and ended up facing the wrong way. At the same instant the unlucky driver of a Misubishi Sedan smashed into the truck shearing off the rear passenger side tire of the Toyota. This section of storrow drive is deadly and probably defective road design. The occupants all seemed ok, I asked if they were all ok and told them I called 911 and they just mumbled something. When the Mass State Trooper arrived he loudly asked if anyone was injured, they just grunted to which the Statey responded "What does that mean?" Anyway they all looked fine. Maybe they were pissed off. Who wouldn't be.

Man, there seems to be a lot of car accidents right outside your appartment! I'm surprized no one has been killed there yet! Or seriously injuried! It's like they say. It's happened, but the severe effect hasn't happened yet! They must be repairing guard rails on that road like crazy! Maybe the whole street should be wrapped in rubber, so when they hit they can just bounce off. Or people should just pushed they vehicles down the road, therefore no fast action speeds will make a big crash! Goodluck with the car accidents to come in that area! 1/19/07 Posted by GreG
Geez, I live at an intersection that sees about three to five accidents a year. unfortuneately, I've never been able to get pics of them. Posted: 1/19/07 by Cameron
