Green Truck Story: 1999 Isuzu Hombre Meets Dodge Caravan

February 10, 2008. It was a cold Sunday morning and me and my 8 year old son Zac were on our way to Sunday school. I was driving down South 134th street in south Oklahoma City (in my 1999 Isuzu pickup) going east approaching Pennsylvania ave. I was going between 45 and 50 mph. My light was green and right before I started through the intersection out of the corner of my eye I noticed it.
A Dodge minivan that was stopped at the intersection facing north decided that it would be a good idea to pull out. I did not even have time to hit my brakes. I was going probably 50mph when we hit. The impact wiped out the entire passenger side of my truck and almost completely ripped off whole front end of the minivan. Everyone in both vehicles were wearing seatbelts (Thank God). Me and my son both had back and neck injuries. Nothing severe. Insurance is still pending. In the meanwhile I'm out about 15 grand in vehicle and medical bills because someone was'nt paying attention. Just a reminder, RED means STOP.Thanks for taking time to read.
