Wrong Way
Phoenix Arizona
On november 9th, 2008 at about 11 am. In phoenix arizona. I was on my way to pick up my mom and head to church. i was on the 101 and realized i was going the wrong way so i got off to turn around. i went under the free way and got to a red light where i would turn left to get on the on ramp. there was one car infront of me and the light then turned green. the car in front of me turned so i thought i had a green arrow, i proceeded to turn and then i heard a screeching sound. i looked to my right to see a full size h2 hummer coming right at me. he slammed right into me and i believe i blacked out. apparetnly he was going about 50mph. next thing i knew i was near the wall out of the road, there was a kid in my face checking if i was ok, and etc. i got out of the car and went to check it out, and it was totalled badly, the hummer of coarse only its bumper came off.
The kid who was checking me took me to the side to sit me down and was just talking to me making sure i was alright until the paramedics got there, when they got there they told me that i should be dead or in acoma because that was a serious accident. my whole right side was hurting so bad, the paramedics suspected taht i broke my colar bone, broke my arm, shattered my ribs scratched my lung and shattered my knee cap. i was sent to er where they took x-rays and everything was ok. i am very fortunate to walk away with just a scratch on my upper lip and neck. im still really sore but thankful for nothing else.
