2007 Beetle Crash with SUV

Accident occurred on April 28, 2008, Long Island, New York. I was in this 07 Beetle traveling 55 mph on wet roads when an SUV attempted a last-second left in front of me. I hit the front end of the SUV broadside at 50-55 mph. Absolutely no intrusion into the cabin of my VW and I suffered several minor injuries. The car was a total loss with over $17,000 in damages. I was so impressed by the fortitude of the VW Beetle that I got another one. Smith
