just proceeded over tracks when all of a sudden to my left was a train about 2 feet away and before i had time to do anything i was hit

I was on my way home and i thought i would stop to see if my
buddy was accross the train tracks so i took a left and in the
distance saw a train very far away and then just proceeded over
tracks when all of a sudden to my left was a train about 2 feet
away and before i had time to do anyhting i was hit.
Luckely my seatbelt held me in place and the airbags did go off
and i got out as soon as possible and thats how i totaled my
1999 honda accord v6.
