This was my brother's 1999 Honda Civic. It was his "baby."
Unfortuneatly, he was an idiot, and when it was on non-op, he
took it out to a casino. We live in Sacramento, but this happened
near Jackson CA on Highway 16. He was speeding, going at least
80+ when he understeered, went off the road and crashed threw
a fence. The car didn't look bad except for a few scratches and
a gash at the right side mirror. When he went threw the fence,
he stopped in deep mud, and had to be towed out. The police had
him drive to a tow yard (he avoided a $150 towing gee). When
he was driving, he noticed it was very off. When inspected by
the autobody shop, extensive suspension and under frame damage.
Visually, there was hardly anything wrong. Bur mechanically,
it was shot. So, it was declared totaled and is no more.

This accident happened sometime in late March, I can't remember
the exact date.
