Hi ! Discovered your site the other day and remembered that I had some pictures. The accident with the Volkswagen happened in July or August 1968 in the quiet neighborhood of Huddinge which is suburb of Stockholm, Sweden.

The small car was hit in a crossing by a large truck which failed to yield. I was only a kid and when I heard about it I ran home and borrowed my dad's camera. I had no relations to either driver and I don't know for sure how badly injured the guy in the beetle was.

However I think I heard that he survived with a broken pelvis and possibly some other broken bones.
