It was Super Bowl Sunday ,2004, Manchester Wi. . I was sitting
home watching TV when I heard strange thumping sounds. I looked
out the window and didn't see anything out of the ordinary.A
couple minutes later there was a bleeding young man on my front
porch.He was the driver .
The passenger who had been ejected was staggering up the drive.
They lost control at a high rate of speed and entered the ditch,
hit a culvert and flipped the car. The marks in the snow showed
the car only hit the ground once in 75yards and was basically
airborne when it hit my workshop, pushing the block wall in about
6 inches. They suffered only cuts and bruises. No broken bones.
The responding police couldn't believe there wasn't a fatality.
