Asleep in Toyota Tundra
McCormick, South Carolina
This accident took place on 11/24/2008 in McCormick, SC. My son who is 15 was driving home and feel asleep at the wheel he had been at school all day and at baseball conditioning. The weather was cold and raining. A witness said he just drifted over into the bridge abutment and never touched his brakes. He was wearing his seatbelt and came away with only a fractured ankle and a lot of bruises. I hope you will use these pictures to teach other young drivers the benefits of wearing a seatbelt. If it wasn't for the seatbelt and Jesus looking over him who knows what would have been the outcome. He was driving my 2004 Toyota Tundra.
