I was the proud owner of a September 2002 8 month old BMW 330i Sport Convertible when one day as I was overtaking a 4x4 Land Rover the car in front of him decided she wanted to turn right. At this point the inevitable happened and as I tried to swerve around her car our front ends clipped. This set off my airbags which knocked me unconscious. At this point my foot dropped on the accelerator (witness's say my car suddenly accelerated after the collision) and I hit a high kerb at approx 70mph. This (according to witness's) sent my car between 10 and a million foot into the air (depending on which witness story you go with) where it then landed in a ditch on it's side and travelled in this position for approx 150 foot. The result was every single panel on my car was smashed dented or ripped open and the alloy wheels shredded beyond recognition.
This happened on a country road in Oxfordshire, England on 25th May 2003 and the car was an obvious wright off. Mark W.
