Fri. nite feb 15. I almost died and killed my dog avoiding a deer. I was driving approx. 55 mph when it jumped in front of me. I swerved hard to the left... then my back end came around, I lost control, slid off of the road sideways to the left where my back end clipped a tree turning me on my side. I was told I should have hit it head on but I wonder if it would have come through the windshield or the bags would have deployed killing my dog ( she has not a scratch) me not so lucky. The VW car is destroyed and I am glad to be alive. I keep thinking ... "what could I have done diffferently?"
