My name is Gary. This was my 2000
Dodge Neon. On November 11, 2006 at 10:00pm I was friving home from shcool. I was traveling west bound on the Hwy 51 (Broken Arrow Espressway) and I-44 junction. My friend in front of me in a
ford F-150 was
text messaging.(granted it was dark and i could see the glow of his phone) After the enterance to the highway i went to pass him( 65-70 mph tops) and from out of no where a car flew passed me on the left and changed lanes on top of me. I swerved to miss but being the fact i was passing my friend he was in the way so i hit his truck. The impact from hitting his truck cause me to go directly south in the west bound lane. As a result of going across the highway at 65-70 mph i hit the retaining wall. I actually moved and broke three sections of the wall. The are about three feet high and six feet long. After i hit the wall my car did 360's down the highway. After my car hit i had to kick the door open and run across four lanes of highway, almost getting hit by an 18 wheeler. Granted it was ten at night it was busy. Once the highway patrol arrived i was take to St. Johns Hospital. I got six staples in my noggin three cuts on my leg.
Later to find out my seatbelt actually tore apart and me
air bag did not deploy. The Trooper sid he was suprised I was alive. To this day I am still scared of that part of the Highway.
Oklahoma car crash I-44 Tulsa
OH YEAH the next exit was mine to go home.
