This is what happened to my wife's sister-in-law on June 8 2007. She was driving on a narrow country road just outside Sunne, Sweden when she met with a local farmer in a tractor pulling a piece of heavy farm equipment. The free space of the road turned out to be only about two feet.
It happened very quickly and she aimed for the ditch but before she managed the harrow climbed up on top of the car. One hook went through the hood and one through the windshield grabbing the roof. The farmer kept on going and forced the car to turn over and pulled it about 25 meters before he stopped.
Here comes the bizarre part, he said he had forgotten he was pulling something and didn't notice the crash. He is in his 80's and should probably not even be allowed walking on public streets without supervision. Luckily she walked away with only cuts and bruises. The car was a 1992 Audi 100 and had recently been repaired for about $1700 - now it's totaled.
