BMW Crashes into Cows, Flips 5 times

I had an accident on 27 May 2006 (the camera date is a bit out)
on the highway just outside of Pretoria (South Africa) at ±
19:00pm.i was driving a BMW 118ti compact with only my dog a
miniture toy pom.My wife luckily was not in the car or otherwise
she would have been killed.i came over a blind rise at ±
120 km/ph.in front of me there a whole lot of cows.the car in
front of me hit a cow and threw the cow over his car landing
the cow in the road on its side with the cows back facing me.i
hit the cow head on forcing the engine underneath the car, causing
the car to flip head over heals ± 2/3 times.
The car then rolled ± 5/6 times till it eventually slid
to a stop on its roof on the grass meridian ± 120/150m
from where i hit the cow.I found myself upside down with my legs
in the drivers side and the rest of my body on the passengers
side.I managed to squezee through the window of the car in fear
that it would explode or that some one else would drive into
me as it was night time.The traffic officials and towing services
and paramedics at the scene of the accident thought i was dead
and were discussing amongst themselves and the people that were
standing around my car that the guy in the BMW is probably dead.Till
i eventually had to let them know that i was the driver of the
BMW.My dog was unfortunatly killed in the accident,we found him
near where i struck the cow.We think he was ejected out of the
car when it began to roll.I was wearing my seatbelt (if i was
not i would have been thrown out of the car as well) and all
the airbags did come out.
I tore all the muscles in me shoulders and neck and back.i also
tore muscles in my hand,wrists and knees.alot of brusing and
cuts.i also hit my head quite hard.i still suffer alot of pain
especially when using my arms for various activities.Luckily
no broken bones.My chest & face took quite a smack aswell
from the airbags (powder burns on face) my wrists also took a
knock from the initial impact when i hit the cow.Just very lucky
to be alive.
