This is by far one of the worst traffic accidents I have seen in my entire life.

This fatal crash took place in June of 2007 in Ottawa, Ontario in Canada. It occurred on Stranherd Road Between Claridge Drive and Longfields Drive. I was on my way home after school when this unfolded right behind my house at about 2 pm. The 2005 Grey Chevrolet Silverado was travelling one way down stranherd and the garbage truck was heading the other way. The driver of the Grey Pick-up truck suffered a massive heart attack and could not keep his truck in control. His pick-up stayed in his lane but unfortunately gained speed and then drifted into the on-coming lanes of traffic hitting a large Goulbourn Sanitation Truck Head on.
Fireman and Paramedics pronounced the 43 year old man dead at the scene and spent the next 2 hours cutting the mans severed remains out of the bottom of his truck. The whole front of the pick-up was smashed up into where you would sit. They removed the mans body from underneath the engine through the floor. The driver of the Garbage truck was also 43 years old and only suffered minor injuries to his neck, wrist and back. A witness told me that it looked like an explosion had gone off in front of her. She said there was an explosion of parts up to 100 feet down the road.
This is by far one of the worst traffic accidents I have seen in my entire life.
