Hello, my name is Alexander S. and I live in Stuttgart, Germany.
I would like to talk about my accident. It was 03 Jul 2002 and
I was driving my Volkswagon Golf off from my parent's house in
Heidelberg and I had just got off the autobahn. It was quite
dark and I could barely see. I could just make out a turn coming
up but it was too late. I slid in the mud and swerved on the
other side of the road right in front of a Vauxhall Astra moving
at 60kmph.
I was quite lucky that night because The driver's side was hit
and that is where I was. Luckily nobody was hurt, the insurance
took care of both of the cars and we made it through the night
without playing the blame game. I just want to say to other drivers
to drive slowly when it is dark and turn on your high beams when
absolutley nessecary.
If I would have done this than this accident might have not happened.
The photographs didn't come out right from the scene of the accident
because it was too dark but I have one from after. Here it is.
