Minivan Hits Bridge
Louisville, Kentucky
Greetings,
First I wanted to compliment you on a great site. They should
make some of these pictures mandatory for high school kids in
driver education classes. If they could see what happens to real
people when they drive recklessly or under the influence of alcohol
or drugs it might make some of them think twice before they get
behind the wheel and do something stupid.
I'm including a pic I took here in Louisville, Kentucky of a
brand new Ford minivan (with 7.2 miles on it) that was on top
of a large car carrier truck that hit the bottom of a bridge.
It happened in upstate New York in the middle of winter. There
was so much snow on the freeway that they couldn't plow it down
to the asphalt which obviously caused the truck to be up several
inches higher than normal and therefore hit the bottom of an
underpass. I know that no one was killed or injured in this accident,
but thought you might find it amusing and worthy of inclusion
in your site.
Once again, thanks from a grateful reader in Kentucky, and keep
up the good work.
