It was Sept. 3rd 2005..My husbands 20th birthday and we were both on our way to dinner...I was driving on Route 342 in Evans mills, Ny...We live in Ft. Drum Ny....It was about 3:55 pm, sunny and very clear out...We are on this road with only one way lanes on each side...A Car decides to come rushing out of a parking lot only about 10 ft. in front of me while im going 55mph..which is the speed limit.I slam on my breaks as fast as i can, and he freezes up and stops right in front of me like a scared deer so i swerve to my left as hard as i can but i hit him smack on the side..

Unfortunately my car was tore up from the front as you can see...Its a 2005 Chevy Cobalt LS...I love my baby....My husband and i were rushed to the emergency...I suffered burns from my seatbelt on the neck and chest area...Scrapes and bruises from the airbag on my hands...

My husband suffered neck sprains and shoulder sprains...same with me...Good thing both airbags deployed and we were both wearing seatbelts...we always DO!!!! 100% the other guys fault...What a birthday my husband will remember....Yesenia and Jon
