Ford Explorer Rolls 4-5 Times
Westmoreland, PA
March 9th 2014, about 2 pm. I was on my way to work on a back road near westmorland Pennsylvania. The road is just wide enough for 2 vehicles. I was driving my 1998 ford explorer when I saw an oncoming vehicle up the road taking up more space than he should.
From a distance I honked hoping he would move over. He didn't. I was doing about 53 miles an hour when disaster struck. At the last second I swerved to avoid hitting the oncoming car, my back passenger side tire caught some rocks in a ditch just off the road, I over corrected my steering and rolled 4-5 times and stopped on my roof. Had I not worn my seat belt I would have been dead. The worst part, while I missed the other driver, he never even stopped to see if I was okay. I gave a description of his car to police to track him down. It's a dangerous place on the road, I was lucky to survive with no broken bones and very minimal head injury.
