On christmas day of 2005, i was involved in a serious head-on
collision. it took place on Osbourn Street in Danbury, CT, just
next to Hospital Avenue. i was making a left onto Hospital Avenue
and i had a green arrow, as well as a green light at the stoplight.
i started to make the turn, and the person who was coming from
the opposite end of the road ran a red light and smashed into
the passenger side of my car. my car spun and rolled in the other
direction. the airbags went off, and there was heavy front-end
damage, so the car was totaled. me and my sister were involved,
but luckily, neither of us got seriously injured. when the airbag
hit me in the face, it cut my lip and it started bleeding. i
also had a slight mark on my neck from where my seatbelt had
held me back, and i had some large bruises on my knees and right
shoulder.
