This happened on CA -17 going past Santa Cruz, CA. It was
late night time and I was speeding somewhat and did not see someone
slamming on their brakes so I switched lanes and got hit from
behind by a drunk driver in a big pickup truck. My car was totaled
to the point where my body frame punctured my back tire. I went
to the hospital for a concussion after I hit the windshield.
I was wearing my seatbelt but the force of the impact drove me
right into the windshield. This was a white Volvo S70...I loved
this car...
Drunk driving doesn't pay off...I've yet to hear his condition
but he's going to require multiple surgeries.
