These are the pictures of what my car looks like after I had a wreck on Monday night Dec. 4 2006. My mom and I were going to go and pick up her pictures from Walgreens. It was about 6:30p.m and already dark out. (I live in Avon,IN) I was going to pull out onto U.S. highway 36 and everything was clear, all of a sudden I hear this huge bang and metal hitting each other.
This is when I freaked out and knew I had got into a car wreck. I just started to flip out. This was my first car wreck and I was driving on a permit. I received the car that summer and a friend and I worked on it together to fix it up. I took so much care of this car, and now to ruin a perfectly good car. I came out of the wreck fine, and so did my mom. She just had a few scratches on her knees from the glove box. For the people in the other car, They were able to drive away as well. The woman in the other car had two children about at the age of 3 or 4, and she was 9 months pregnant. This really stressed me out. She was driving a 1990 Dodge Intrepid that was maroon. I was driving a 1990 Volvo 740GL that was maroon. I still am yet to figure out if it is my fault or not. I didn't see any of her car what so ever except for after the crash. I don't even know if she had her headlights on or not? It is a mystery.
I am probably going to sell the car for parts and buy a new car.
Just a tip, make sure the intersection is clear before you go! Double and triple check! It may save your life and others!Robert N.
