Find Auto Accident Lawyers: Click Here In June of 1993 I had a slight fender bender with my personal car and had to rent a vehicle from the dealer. They were out of service loaners so they pulled a brand new 1993 Chevy Beretta off the showroom floor for me to use.
On the way home from the dealership I was driving approximately 65 miles per hour on Route 80 in Patterson, NJ when I was hit from behind by a drunk doing about 100 miles per hour in a 1987 Ford Thunderbird. The collision caused my car to spin out and I hit the center median and continued to spin about 5 times until I came to rest on the shoulder of the road. The police estimated that the guy caused the accident probably hit me about 3 to 5 other times while I was spinning. The trunk of the car was pushed up into the back seat, the motor was pushed back and down under the car and the nose of the car was swayed over one foot to the side. I had my seatbelt on and was uninjured in the accident.
