Location: Torrance, CA (Los Angeles) Date: Aug. 29, 2004 I was driving on a main street (6 lanes) in the far left lane
at bout 45 mph on my way to a modeling photo shoot that was going
to pay very well, and this guy in a Tundra pretty much jumped
in front of me, he was in the far left lane going the OPPOSITE
way from me.
He cross two solid yellow lines to do this, he must have been
truing to make an illegal left-hand turn or illegal U-turn and
just did not see me. I slammed on my breaks but it was too late.
The impact was really hard and I blacked out for a second. The
airbags did not deploy, but they should have. Accident was totally
the other guy's fault.
My car was totaled, I didn't break any bones but was sprained
from waist up and now have neck/back problems. I am just hoping
the insurance comes through for me.
