This is an example of when you speed during the winter months. My friend Dave was driving along RT. 66 in Columbia, CT in Feb.2004 and he was speeding and came up a curve and hit black ice. He began to spin out and hit a snowbank and went 15 ft up in the air and hit a telephone pole, a tree and ended up taking out someone's mailbox.
He just ended up with a cut hand and had some internal bleeding. He is fine now and refuses to speed. This scared me for sometime and i'm careful when i drive now. I just want to prove to people that speeding gets you nowhere. Thanks Holli
