Description- I was making a left turn on a protected turn (Green Arrow) at the traffic light, all of a sudden this Chevy Truck driven by a young male in his twenties ran a red light and smashed into the left front side of my BMW. My car spunned past 180 degree to the right and hit another car (a Saab). Both my BMW and the truck were totaled, and the Saab only sustained minor damages. I always follow safety practices such as waiting a few seconds on GREEN. This practice in this incident pretty much saved my life. If I would have gone too soon as the light turned green, it could have been a straight T-Bone impact roughly 55-60 mph. Please! I encourage everyone to drive defensively, and always put SAFETY a priority in both the car you drive and the way you drive.
Date of Accident- 02/23/2005
Location- Beaverton, Oregon.
