A friend of mine was driving his 57 Tbird home from a car show in late August 2007 when the accident occurred. He was driving along in the right lane of Rt 287 in Mahwah, NJ around 9pm when an 18 wheeler approached him from the center lane. The truck driver, who did not see the Tbird, attempted to change lanes and clipped the Tbird just behind the driver's door. The Tbird was sent spinning across the highway and hit the center divider with the back right corner. Thankfully, my friend walked away with only bumps and bruises.
