Hello--- Albie again , the driver was indian and traveling on the Golden Highway in Johannesburg, he left the road at high speed while attempting a slight curve, and met with a concrete pillar of a highway crossing above. He was killed on impact, No passengers. The car was a golden 2002 BMW M3.

Hi, Please note that Albie’s comments on this South African accident are incorrect. Please would you rectify this. These pics were circulated on the internet some years ago. The driver was in fact in fact a Caucasian male by the name of Simon D. I don’t see the necessity of Albie mentioning the driver’s race anyway since it is of no relevance here. The accident did not happen on the Golden Highway as alleged but rather near the Buccleuch Interchange in Johannesburg, in much the same manner that Albie describes. Also there were two passengers in the car, Simon’s fiancé in front was seriously injured and the passenger in the rear was also injured. Simon died after some time while being attended to by paramedics while still trapped in the vehicle. Rumour has it that his lower extremities were crushed or severed by the severe intrusion into the cabin. All occupants were apparently wearing seatbelts. Thank you Posted 8/ 10/07 by Randall S.
