This happened on August 18, 2002. I was driving in a residential
area that had no stop signs in any direction at the intersections.
I used to drive 60-70 miles an hour thru this area at night where
theres no cars (speed limit is 35, i think) so I was speeding,
and when i approached one of the intersections (remember, no
stop signs) I noticed another car approaching the intersection
on the other road, (I was going west and they were going south)
and we collided, my car t-boning theirs on the rear driver side
fender. I was able to limp my car home but not before it was
smoking really badly... I only drove it when it needed to be
moved a very small distance. I was the only person in the car,
non injured, and there were 2 girls and a baby in the other car.
They were not injured either. The lessons I learned? Dont speed
and wear your seatbelt!
