On May 23rd 2000, I was driving approximately 65mph north bound on the Florida Turnpike. I remember a white Nissan tailgating my brand new 2000 Saturn. I made the decision to move from the fast lane to the middle lane. The next thing I recall was looking at a Fort Lauderdale EMT and seeing my car connected to a tree. What shocks me most about the whole accident was that my seat belt broke, and neither one of my airbags deployed.
