My friend and me was riding around looking for deer like we
usually do. We went down a back road to look for some when all
of a sudden we saw tail lights in the woods. I immediately locked
the car right up. I didn't know whose car it was, or if there
was anyone there hurt or not. It had Florida plates. I thought
it was two old people who had gone off the road cause they had
swerved for an animal. There was no one around the vehicle when
we got there. We screamed for them, but nothing. I rode up the
road and back looking for someone, but didn't see no one.
Well I had called the cops. Took them 34 minutes to arrive! Thank
god no one was dying! It takes only about 10 minutes to get from
the police station in town to where the accident scene was. My
friend and I found beer in the seat, and there was two empty
cans of beer on the side of the road. The back passenger window
shattered when it went into the trees. I stood next to the car
and could smell the odor coming out of the broken window. The
guy who was driving is in trouble with the law already. This
don't help him out any.
He had gone off the road on the left side and over-corrected
and hit the brakes and swerved to the right. Why would anyone
drink and drive? It's common sence not to! People know it kills
people. Don't they read the label on the bottle that says do
not operate any equipment while under the influence of alcohol.
Thank god this guy just left the road and went into the woods.
That accident could of very well saved someones life too. He
could of been in a accident further on down the road, which would
of left someone seriously hurt to dead. While he'd walk away
unharmed. It's unbelieve that NO ONE thinks about that crap.
Don't drink and drive. It's the most stupidest thing a person
could do! It ruins lifes! AND always remember to WEAR YOUR
SEATBELT! That is a big life saver right there!
