Christmas Eve Fatal Accident

This accident happened in Poland, Maine on Christmas Eve.
I could only get one photo of one car. This is a Dodge Spirit.
The other car was a Nissan Altima. It was shortly after midnight
when this occured. This accident is the second worst accident
in the state since the Mother Day crash in 2004 that claimed
the lives of three mothers and four kids. All six people involved
in this crash died including a dog. All their ages were between
18 and 27. Icy roads are believed to be the blame of this. Only
two people out of the six were wearing seatbelts. Four were killed
on impact, two died hours later.
From what the paper said they was on a corner and one vehicle
slid on black ice into the oncoming lane and struck another vehicle
head-on. After they collided, one car bounced back and was up
against a pole. The other car was upside down in the road. It's
not clear on who it was that caused it, but one thing that is
clear black ice is what caused it. It didn't say how fast they
was going, but the speed limit is 50 mph in that area. The corner
don't look safe anyways. One car had two 20 year old males (One
of the 20 year olds was driving and had a suspended lisence.)
a 19 year old male and a 18 year old male. The other car had
a 27 year old male and a 26 year old female, those two were going
to be getting married. It's a tragedy!! Let this be a reminder
to use extra caution and wear a seatbelt!
